Biography
‘‘..I moved to the United Kingdom where I completed my medical degree at the University of Bristol, also gaining a BSc(Hons) in neuroscience. I worked as a junior doctor in the NHS, gaining experience by rotating through several hospitals in the region. I completed my trauma and orthopaedic specialty training at the Royal National Orthopaedic Hospital programme in Stanmore, London - one of the top 10 orthopaedic hospitals in the world. I subsequently undertook further specialist training by doing fellowships..’’
Conditions
I have extensive surgical experience in managing chronic conditions such as arthritis, trauma, fractures and sports injuries of the upper and lower limbs. I put an emphasis on accurate diagnosis and creating a personalised treatment plan in order to achieve the best possible result and speediest recovery.
Therapies & Procedures
After making the right diagnosis, my aim is to create a personalised treatment plan with my patient. It is important to fully explain the nature of the problem along with the therapeutic options available. Every treatment plan must be based on scientific evidence. I use the the most modern equipment and minimally invasive techniques such as arthroscopy and robotic assistance for knee and hip replacements.
Foot & Ankle
Having undertaken further specialist training in foot and ankle surgery, I have the expertise to manage challenging conditions such as complex fractures, diabetic foot problems, deformity, chronic and acute sports injuries and complications of surgery as well as common problems such as bunions and arthritis.
